About Us

Surrounded by the beauty of the Island of Maui, in Kahului, is a Pre-K to Grade 8 school with a Christ-centered curriculum devoted to the life-long learning of the whole child in a changing world. Guided by the Lutheran Church’s educational emphasis, Emmanuel Lutheran strives for academic quality and individual student achievement.  Care and support for each other comes naturally in Emmanuel’s ohana environment for students, teachers and staff. Its school-wide integrated Core Knowledge curriculum in grades K-8 have helped students consistently test strong in the national SAT-10. Student interests develop through strong programs in music, Spanish, computer instruction, physical education, and the core subjects.
