Kelsey Dunn is a 2010 graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin. She earned her degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Adaptive Education. Kelsey hopes to one day continue her education earning a Master’s Degree in Curricular Studies. Kelsey received a Divine Call to teach 5th grade at Emmanuel Lutheran in the Spring of 2010 and subsequently moved to Maui in July. Kelsey’s favorite things about 5th grade are building relationships with her students while having fun in an active learning environment. She has the privilege of taking her 5th graders on an Outdoor Education trip to Camp Keanae, a YMCA Camp, each February. Outside of school, Kelsey is an active participant in half-marathons held on island, paddles for Na Kai Ewalu Canoe Club, and coaches for Maui United Soccer Club. She also helps to lead the Youth of Emmanuel through the church.
